Robin Lovelock, DVM

Dr. Robin Lovelock A native of the Saratoga area, Dr. Lovelock has cared for pets as a general practitioner at Fairview Veterinary Hospital since 1992.

Dr. Lovelock graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in 1976 where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Biology-Geology. She attended the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell Univesity, receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. During her four years at Cornell, Dr. Lovelock was the recipient of several academic awards. In her junior year, she was inducted into Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society, and at graduation she was awarded the Mary Louise Moore Prize for Bacteriology and the Sheidy Prize for Pharmacology. Following veterinary school, Dr. Lovelock was selected for a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, in Athens, Georgia.

Upon completion of her internship in 1984, Dr. Lovelock returned to the Rochester area and joined Monroe Veterinary Associates. She previously cared for pets at Irondequoit Animal Hospital as well as the Perinton Veterinary Hospital before joining the Fairview Veterinary Hospital medical team.

Dr. Lovelock is a member of the Internship Committee and the LVT Continuing Education Program at Monroe Veterinary Associates. In addition, she participates in a multitude of science fairs and Career Days at middle schools and high schools in the Pittsford area. In her free time, Dr. Lovelock enjoys skiing and biking, as well as traveling and spending time with her children, family and friends.
